Choosing the right location for your building site is the most important
part of the building process. The grade must be shaped and sloped so
that the building site does not retain water. RAM's Excavating
Division utilizes a laser-level attached to the bobcat for
precision grading, ensuring that your building site is in the best possible
condition to begin construction.
There are many ways RAM's Excavating Division can assist
you with your building project. These are just a sampling of the services

Arena Footings
Choosing the Site
For both outdoor and indoor arenas, the actual location of the
arena and it's ability to drain away excess water is as important
as the arena itself. RAM's Excavating Division
utilizes a laser-level attached to the bobcat for the precision
grading necessary for proper water control. The option of drain
tile placed beneath the outdoor arena or around the exterior of
an indoor arena is also a great way to help control the water
quickly and drain it away from the site.
Choosing the Base Material
There are several products such as ag lime and certain types of
gravel that can be effectively used as the base. The base product
must be machined rolled for proper compaction or the top dressing
can disappear and the entire footing can be compromised. RAM's
Excavating Division can place and pack the base material to a
thickness that matches your type of riding or jumping.
Choosing the Top Dressing
A variety of products are available for the top dressing, and costs vary
depending on the advantages that each product can provide. Contact
RAM's Excavating Division to have a free no-obligation
analysis of your site and to discuss which type of top dressing would be
best for you and your budget. |
