M&N Structures Open House

M&N Structures is a family based business. Kevin & Betsy Niemeier are co-owners of this Structural Engineering  and Steel Fabrication company. Their son Jim and also their son-in-law, Jonathan Henriksen, are Project Managers. Due to the company’s growth, they have had to relocate several times in order to accommodate their needs. They have also expanded their personnel over the years. They are a highly reputable company and just this year they were recognized by the Twin Cities Business Magazine.

M&N’s newest relocation in Winsted is a 28,000 sq. ft. building. The Open House was on September 13, 2011. It was well attended by vendors and customers alike. It gave the Niemeiers’ an opportunity to meet a lot of people from the community. Betsy stated, “There was a lot of good feedback about the building.”

We would like to welcome them to the neighborhood!

RAM Landscape Update

RAM Landscape is now in its second year with RAM companies. We started off this year slowly with all the rain this past Spring. Once we got going, Rhino Courts seemed to be the big hit this year. We installed seven courts which is the all time high within one season. One of the courts, which was installed in St. Paul, was also the largest landscape project of the year. The project included a pool and a fire pit. Talk about outdoor living!

Also, we have upgraded our website to keep up with the modern age. We have added a facebook page. You should check it out, by clicking on the like button . We have exciting projects we have completed for your viewing.  As well as specials we are running posted.

Speaking of our specials, Fall is a great time of year to plant a tree. The tree is going dormant and there is no stress on the tree. It gives the tree an opportunity to get a great start for Spring and re-root. Make sure with the dry fall we are having  to give your trees an extra drink of water, they will love you for it!

Hope everyone is having a great fall!

RAM Customer Referral Program

This program has proven to be our most rewarding. The benefit to you is receiving $100. The benefit to us is much more satisfying. It brings us great pleasure to know that our customers are so completely satisfied with our work that they would be willing to recommend us to a neighbor, friend, or family member. This program is making a huge difference in aiding customers to choose RAM for their building needs.

It is easy to participate. When you refer someone, ask them to be sure and mention your name. If that person does decide to build with RAM and has a project minimum of at least $5,000. You will receive a check for $100.

There is no limit to the number of people you can refer. Therefore there is no limit to the number of $100 checks you can collect.

For full details about the RAM Customer Referral Program you may contact your Territory Manager by calling us at 1-800-710-4726, or visit us at www.rambuildings.com.

Parade Thanks

RAM participated in 2 parades thus far in 2011. We were honored to be part of the Grande Parade during Lester Prairie Days on July 16, 2011. It was the commemoration of their 125th anniversary. Wow! RAM also made their way through their home town during the Winsted Summer Festival Parade on August 14, 2011.  We have plans to be in the Winsted Winter Festival Parade. The festival is December 2-3, 2011. The schedule is not definite yet.

It is due to the gracious nature of employees and family members of RAM that we are able to do so.  We would like to send out a great big “Thank You” for the charity of all those willing to spend their time freely for a good cause in the community. You are a fine example to others.

Agriculture Drives Increase Demand
for RAM Buildings, Inc.

Higher crop prices have provided the farm economy with more money to spend. They are using the excess money to buy more land, equipment, and buildings. The demand for farm shops and machinery storage is up significantly. This began late in 2010 and is going strong still. The new depreciation laws have made it beneficial for the farmers to buy new buildings. This is definitely a step in leading to the recovery of the economy. If you are in need of an agricultural building, this would be a great time to talk with your tax advisor and find out the benefits of doing it now. Thank You Farmers for putting your trust in us!

RAM Continues Growth in ND

North Dakota has drawn us into their area due to the oil rush. Currently, two miles underground there is an oil reserve that has put them at the center of the U.S. oil industry. The exact number of barrels foreseen to be drilled is under dispute by many experts; ranging anywhere from billions to trillions. The unemployment rate in the oil producing area is only 2%.

In the past 2 years RAM has completed over 5 million dollars in projects in North Dakota. The amount of work in the area far exceeds the number of contractors to complete the jobs. We have even sent our excavating division out there as well. We believe that the rapid growth in the area will continue to create opportunities for RAM for many years to come. Some experts are predicting within 5-10 years time ND may be a major oil producing region. Things are looking up all around.
